Treatment Process

The Purasomes exosome therapy is typically delivered through microneedling, which creates micro-channels in the skin, allowing for deeper penetration and absorption of the exosomes. This combination enhances collagen and elastin production, leading to smoother, firmer, and more radiant skin .

120 Day Hair Protocol combines Purasomes with Platelet-Rich-Plasma (PRP):

Day 1 - 1st treatment - Day 30 - PRP Treatment - Day 50 - 2nd Treatment Purasomes - Day 90 - 2nd PRP Treatment - Day 120 Purasomes

Sometimes only 2 x treatments are required if patients are happy with results at this stage, especially if you are young & don’t have any concerns like acne scars, rosacea or pigment that we are trying to improve. Maintenance is just 1 treatment every 6-12 months.

Recovery

Initially straight after treatment skin will be red, have mild swelling and feel hot - like a mild sunburn sensation. This will last 48hrs approx. and is usually less than microneedling on its own due to the anti-inflammatory properties of the Purasomes. Makeup can be applied 24hrs after.

Then for 7 days you may experience mild dryness and some light peeling due to dead skin cells being stimulated and pushed to the surface. 

Aftercare

No makeup for 24 hrs
keep skin dry for 12 hrs post treatment
Then gently cleanse your skin but do not exfoliate (Epionce Milky Lotion or Gentle Foaming cleanser is recommended)
Apply moisturiser continuing no harsh chemicals, scent or active ingredients 2 - 3 times a day (Epionce Calming Cream is recommended)
Avoid swimming, saunas, intense gym workouts and heat for 72 hrs
Avoid active ingredients on the skin for 7-10 days such as Vit C, glycolic, retinol etc
Avoid sun exposure for 2 weeks and wear SPF

Results

As we are Microneedling the exosomes treatment in, it can therefore take a few weeks for the proper results to show as the skin must repair itself post Microneedling.

Despite this you could still see some results straight away. For example, acne & rosacea should see a reduction in redness and inflammation from the Exosomes as early as day two. However, obviously there will still be some redness & dryness from the microneedling so better results should be apparent 1-2 weeks after when the skin has shedded and repaired from the microneedling.

Results from the exosomes will continue to improve as they work on repairing & regenerating our skin cells for weeks post treatment.
